I developed a WordPress e-commerce website integrated with Moodle as a Learning Management System (LMS) for testing and trial purposes. The website allows customers to register, purchase courses using Stripe Payment Gateway, and receive automated emails with login credentials for Moodle, where course content is hosted. WordPress handles course selection, checkout, and payment, while Moodle provides access to course materials.
After purchasing a course, customers receive a username and password for Moodle. Once logged in, they are prompted to change their password before accessing course content, quizzes, and activities. Instructors can upload materials and manage student interactions through Moodle’s user-friendly platform.
For email functionality, I tested plugins like reengagement for reminders and newsletters for automated updates. Configuring SMTP, POP, and IMAP, along with enabling cron jobs, ensured smooth email delivery. Mozilla Thunderbird was used as the email client to manage communications for students, instructors, and administrators.
