One of my achievements is having a system I contributed to being recognized on the Wall of Fame at the Tun Abang Haji Openg Digital Centre (TAHODC), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). As a support programmer, I played a key role in the development of CARES – Careers and Employability Service, a system designed to revolutionize how student and alumni profiles are managed and presented to potential employers. This milestone highlights our commitment to creating impactful solutions.
CARES streamlines resume reviews for the Student Development Unit, ensuring all submissions are error-free and up-to-date before being shared with companies. It also digitizes student and alumni profiles, providing a centralized platform where employers can post job advertisements and students can apply seamlessly. This integration bridges the gap between students and industries, fostering greater employability.
Being part of the CARES project demonstrates my dedication to building systems that drive positive outcomes. The system’s recognition at UNIMAS underscores its importance in enhancing employability and strengthening connections between academia and industry.
