A significant milestone in my career as a software engineer was winning 1st place in the Innovative Creative Circle (ICC) Competition at the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) Sarawak level in 2023. Competing against renowned companies and institutions, this recognition reflects the impact and effectiveness of our work.
As the developer behind the Food Voucher System, I led the enhancement of voucher management processes for staff. The system was designed to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and optimize cost expenditures associated with generating vouchers for students. This innovative approach significantly improved efficiency and resource allocation.
This achievement was made possible thanks to my supportive team members from GoTechTive, Sarawak Skills, who played a crucial role in preparing comprehensive documentation and collaboratively finding the best solutions to the challenges we faced. Their dedication and teamwork were integral to our success.
Earning this award at the ministry level showcases my ability to design impactful systems that address real-world challenges. It emphasizes my dedication to delivering solutions that improve productivity and add value to organizations.
